Well I honestly don't know what to say about diary-x being down for good. It means that I have to completely start over on what I asume will be this here page, or over at my myspace: http://www.myspace.com/3478679. I think that I'm sad in a way that everything I've written for the pace 4 or so years is now completely wiped off of the face of the planet, but then again it's not like I would ever go back there and read the stuff that I had written. But it was nace knowing that it was there. That maybe I could click on a random date and see just what the hell I was thinking at that moment. Whether it be me writing about some bitch that I happened to be dating, or a joke about a squirrel and his nuts.

And that's how I feel about my Sid diary-x site being down. Everything that happened in those years I can only remember by it simply being in my mind. My Sid 2 site however is no big deal, those reviews I wrote are over at the epinions site. I do however have to redo my DVD Collection list. That'll take a good part of a day atleast.

But naturally what upsets me is that The Fucker is no more. Yes, everyone knows that I was The Fucker at thefucker.diary-x.com. It's the site I started simply as a lark, thinking that no one in their right mind would really read it all that much. I mean come on, it was sarcastic ramblings with a prefab template. Come to think of it, it's GENIUS!! The site eventually grew more popular and more popular by the month. I think on average it got anywhere between 500 and 1000 hits a day. I myself would go back and read entries in that thing over the 3 years it was up, and I'd laugh my ass off and say "damn, I don't remember writing that, but that's pretty funny." Other times I might say "eh, that was an off day."

Some highlights include "The Fucker's Death," where I reported as another person that the man running the site had died in a car accident, an update that caused several upon several message board forums debating on if The Fucker had actually died. So I updated it several times as "The Fucker's friends who decided to push on an continue the site." Best responce of that were the people in the forums saying "I don't know if he's dead, but these new guys suck." Brilliant.

Then I think that at one point I just decided to stop doing the site all together, but 3 months later, I thought: fuck it, Arnold was elected governor, so The Fucker needed to come back. I'm trying to think of some other funny ass things that happened. Well, there was the time I hooked up with that psycho fucking suicidal punk chick from Boston. Then there was the severe Election 2004 coverage, which mainly consisted of 100+ entries on why I hate Bush. Plus there were al ot of entries where I was too lazy to update myself, so I just let someone else to do it. Switchblade Betty's update was a great one. Geekrock's ex girlfriend: not so much.

So that's what I'm goign to miss most of all. Those entries from a site very near and dear to me are completely lost in existence. The only parts of any of them that exist are the pictoral entries, simply because I have the pictures saved on a webspace.

The question is where or not I want to start the site again. If Stephen brings back diary-x, which I very much so hope that he does, there is no denying that I would bring back The Fucker. It would need to happen. It would be The Fucker, post-diaryx-apocalypse. But I can't picture myself starting that site up anywhere else. www.livejournal.com/users/thefucker just doesn't have the same ring to it (plus some other douchebag has the name, and he never updates it.) We'll see what happens. I might change my mind, but I hope to god Stephen changes his mind about letting Diary-x go dark.

For right now though, I guess Jack Stone will be my new Sid site. And right now I need to get to work on creating a new DVD Update list.
